Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) located in Dhaka. The Oracle DBA will be responsible for managing and administering Oracle databases, ensuring optimal performance, implementing security measures, and troubleshooting system issues. Additional responsibilities include overseeing database backups, replication, and working collaboratively with other teams to support mission-critical systems within the organization's infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance
• Experience with general Database Administration and Replication processes
• Strong knowledge of Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to database performance, errors, and failures
• Understanding of Database Security principles and best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in an on-site, collaborative team environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Relevant certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) are a plus
• Experience in the banking, telecommunications, or government sectors is advantageous
