Job Description
- Supervise and manage procurement schedules to ensure uninterrupted supply chain operations.
- Analyze and verify departmental purchase requisitions and confirm technical specifications before sourcing.
- Procure machinery, spare parts, and technical services from local and international markets.
- Prepare and issue RFQs (Request for Quotation) to approved and potential vendors.
- Conduct commercial and technical comparative statement analysis.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions to ensure cost efficiency.
- Evaluate existing vendors based on quality, cost, delivery, and compliance performance.
- Develop and onboard new vendors to strengthen sourcing capability and reduce supply risk.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, and other departments to align procurement with operational requirements.
- Manage overseas communication with international suppliers and service providers.
- Ensure timely procurement of maintenance materials and emergency spare parts.
- Monitor procurement lead time and ensure on-time material availability.
- Maintain proper documentation, approval workflow, and audit-ready procurement records.
- Assist Division Head in procurement planning, budgeting, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Prepare departmental reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and vendor development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
Skills Required:
- Communication and interpersonal skill
- Computer Literacy
Experience Required:
- 8 to 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Textile
Additional Requirements:
8 to 10 years of experience in procurement within a denim manufacturing or spinning unit.
Good at computer MS Office Applications and Overseas communication
